She is quite excited when a nice older woman invites her in and agrees to sign (though the woman seems to be examining her awfully closely and asking several strange questions). The nice older couple are actually white slavers – and they are behind on fulfilling orders! Before she even realizes the situation she is in, poor Mary Jane’s hands are secured behind her and she is picked up and carried off into the back room. Still confused, Mary Jane is tightly hogtied and thoroughly tape gagged as the woman explains what fate awaits her!
